Today we start Japan Deluxe Tour with visiting the Outlet Shopping in Izumisano City. The outlet is a part of the Chelsea Premium Outlet Group well-known in the US. In the evening we shall proceed to embark on the Sunflower Ferry towards Beppu.
We arrive at Beppu with anticipation after an overnight ferry ride. Beppu is renowned for being a spa heaven, one of Japan¡Çs most famous onsen resorts. The tour of Hell along a path in the Kannawa area is the highlight of sightseeing in the Beppu spa. Eight spots including the Umi-jigoku (sea hell) made up of bright cobalt blue hot water, the Chi-no-ike-jigoku (blood pond hell) where hot water containing red melted clay gushes out and the Tatsumaki-jigoku (tornado hell), a fiery geyser that erupts every 20 minutes. Thereafter enjoy a cable car ride (subject to weather condition) to Mt. Aso, the largest active crater. An impressive view of its churning and bloody depth awaits you.
After breakfast, we shall proceed to Nagasaki, a historical landmark noted for its tragic association with the atomic bombing. It is now an attractive cosmopolitan with a legacy of Western architecture, Chinese temples and promotion of Peace. We shall proceed to visit Glover Mansion, a famous garden with the statue of Madame Butterfly. Later on we shall proceed to the Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Museum for an in-depth insight into the value of peace. We leave for Fukuoka in the evening.
Fukuoka-the capital of Kyushu. We shall pass by Kanmon Bridge, a suspending bridge for vehicles which was built in 1973. Today¡Çs highlight is Akiyoshidai, the largest limestone cave in East Asia and also the largest plateau in Japan. It is similar to a huge natural open air mountain, with plenty of light streaming in to create some extremely unique and impressive beauty. It never fails to impress and amaze. We proceed to Hiroshima via Kintai Bridge.
Our last day in Kyushu tour will be spent visiting Miyajima, a place of extraordinary scenic beauty, an exceptional heritage and a national monument. It is also regarded as one of the three most beautiful spots in Japan. In it stands Itsukushima Shrine, the most magnificent shrine building and also an artistic masterpiece unmatched by other shrines. Its placement on the water, exquisitely framed by the mountains in the background, harmonizing so perfectly with its surroundings will leave you in awe. Thereafter we shall proceed to the Hiroshima Peace Park in memory of those who perished in the atomic bombings, it stands as a testament of peace. Our finale is Kourakuen, a renowned garden preserved from the 17th century. It took 14 years for the completion of Korakuen, which is now one of the most famous garden in Japan.
