Edo-Tokyo Museum show s how the 15th century village of Edo grew to be Tokyo. It was established in 1993, and tell the story of remarkable growth through life-size replicas and detailed scale models. There are a life size reconstruction of Edo Castle and Nihonbashi Bridge. Its futuristic building was designed after and elevated-floor type warehouse. It rises 62.2m, the same high of the top tower of Edo Castle. It ah a total area of about 30,000m², 2.4 times larger than Tokyo Dome.
