Tour Overview

View >> Cherry Blossom Forecast 2015
Sakura has come! Not from Cardcaptors or Naruto series but the beautiful pink flowers of cherry blossoms. Your trip is not complete without visiting the hot spots; we will head to Akihabara Animate, Nakano Broadway (the mecca of otaku), Harajuku Kiddy Land, Ghibli Museum, Pokémon Center, Gundam Front Tokyo, J-World, Shibuya Tokyu Hands, Robot Restaurant and more.

To top it off, we also include a trip to International AnimeJapan Fair in Tokyo! It’s the largest in the world with cosplayers, vendors, and artist in one area. However, staying in Tokyo won’t let you fully grasp on Japanese culture.

We will take you outside the metropolis of Tokyo to Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Nara, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Miyajima. The sakura season is perfect to visit Japan during the scattering of petals through Japan’s famous landmarks like Mt. Fuji, Deer Park at Todaiji Temple, and the floating torii of Miyajima. Enjoy your trip with this well balance trip with the traditional and otaku side of you. You can also extend your vacation before/ after the tour in Hiroshima, Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

Today for the adventurous, you have the option of spending the day going wherever you'd like on your own. Some popular spots are Tokyo Disneyland, Fuji-Q Highland, and Sanrio Pureland for those looking for amusement parks. Or Nikkou may be more suitable for those looking for a more relaxing day.
For others who would like to stick with the tour group, we will start by heading to Kiddy Land, one of Japan's most popular toy stores. It carries all sorts of goods from old time favorite characters such as Snoopy and Hello Kitty to more recent characters.

We will then walk down Takeshita Street, known as Takeshita Douri in Harajuku. It is a whole street filled with shops selling young Japanese fashion, popular among young teens. Tradition is to enjoy a sweet crepe dessert after some shopping. We will then spend our afternoon at Tokyu Hands Shibuya. Tokyu Hands is a large shopping mall which holds everything from stationary to cosmetics, travel goods to electronic goods to much more. You will then have some free time to explore the city on your own until we return to the hotel. On our way back, will pass by the famous Shibuya Cross and Roppongi Hills.

The afternoon will be spent as the World Tea Museum which features a beautiful Japanese tea garden you can relax at.

After a nice cup of tea at the museum, we will head back to a ryokan, a Japanese style hotel. There we will enjoy nice traditional Japanese cuisine. Day 7

03/25/15

We will start our exciting day traveling to a ninja village. You will learn tricks on how ninjas infiltrate enemies’ castle and see the many weapons they use. Inside the temple, you will behold the biggest Buddha statue in Japan.

We will continue to Nijo Castle. Its walls and door panels are heavily decorated with gold and beautiful pictures of nature. We then proceed to Kiyomizu Temple. The most iconic temple of Japan, Kiyomizu Temple is a wooden structure that overlooks the city of Kyoto. On the base, three canals sprout water representing love, wisdom, and longevity. This temple is often seen when anime/ manga characters travel to Kyoto like Keitaro and Naru from Love Hina and girls from YuruYuri. The last stop will be Kodaiji Temple, built in 1606 in memory of Toyotomi Hideyoshi by his beloved wife, Nene. The value of pre-and post-tour stays.

Most of our tour participants often wake up at the crack of dawn in order to catch flights to Japan. After arriving in Japan, many guests find themselves exhausted, and the first day of the tour the next morning is often overshadowed with trying to catch up on rest. At the end of the tour starts the whole process all over again with a rush to the airport to catch flights home on next day. Regrettably, many travelers are so focused on booking their tour that they often don't give thought to adding a few days to enjoy the city where our tour starts or ends. It's a shame to fly all that way and not savor some of Japan's most exciting places such as Tokyo. Thankfully there is a better way to enjoy your vacation: pre-and post-tour stays.
